The Small Oaks Vision

Our Vision

Small Oaks Early Learning Centre was previously know as Original Kids and has been a part of the Manurewa community for almost 30 years. The centre is a converted bungalow that has been renovated to offer a balance of learning environments within a homely setting.

Vision

Our Vision is to provide children with the opportunity to be involved in a programme that recognises their individual interests, celebrates their skills and abilities and supports their future learning.

Aspirations

We aim to work alongside parents and whānau to ensure their aspirations for tamariki are acknowledged and a part of our programme. Our relationships are built on respect and equity for all, while recognising diversity and cultural differences.

Relationships

We believe relationships are the key to a successful working partnership with children and whānau. We encourage our parents and whānau to be actively involved in the centre and share in their child’s learning.

Community

We are a part of the community and believe that children should be familiar with local services that make up their social network. We strive to be an active participant in the community and community projects.

Affordable

We aim to make childcare and education affordable for all, therefore will ensure our rates are competitive and affordable.
